• Purchase, Manage and track an equipment inventory worth over $1,000,000 that supports more than 44 course sections each semester taught by 20-30 faculty across four different majors. Act as primary liaison between Film, Journalism, and Telecommunications majors.

• Teach more than 30 technical workshops per semester covering topics such as camera operation, audio production and recording, lighting, as well as individual equipment tutorials.

• Design, manage, update two story Soundstage production facility.

• Support broadcast studios, audio booths, and live on-location webcasts.

• Provide cost-effective, safe, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and in-house repairs. Control costs according to operational budget.

• Enforce checkout policy, assess fines for late/damaged equipment.

• Hire, train, and manage a workforce of full time staff and 10-14 wage-payroll/work-study employees with tiered support escalation system and documentation.
